2 iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android phones, Android tablets and Wear OS watches. Import recipes with the Safari, Chrome and Firefox extensions.

3 Ingredients are matched against official government food databases, including USDA FoodData Central and CIQUAL. Where cooking changes a nutrient, KiWi says so and shows the retention factor it used. Where no match exists, it says that rather than guessing.

Tap the number. See the source.

Most recipe nutrition is an estimate stacked on an estimate. Ours is not, and you do not have to take our word for it.

A nutrition breakdown in KiWi showing the USDA FoodData Central source row for carrots, the database snapshot date, and a retention note explaining that braising lowers vitamin C
  1. Every figure traces to a row in a real database

KiWi works nutrition out from the ingredients, then matches each one to a row in an official government food database. Tap a number and it shows you which row, which database, and the date we took our copy.

  2. Cooking changes food, so the numbers change too

Braising a carrot costs it vitamin C. KiWi applies the published retention factor and tells you it did, on the line where it happened.

  3. When we do not know, we say so

An ingredient with no good match is shown as unmatched rather than filled in with a plausible number. A blank we admit to is worth more than a figure we invented.

Everything you cook, in one place, on every screen you own

Save it from anywhere. Know what is in it. Plan the week, shop for it and cook it without touching the screen.

Save it from anywhere

Websites, social posts, screenshots, a photo of a cookbook page, or typed in yourself. KiWi reads the source, pulls out the ingredients and the steps, and files it with the rest.

Nutrition on every recipe

Calories, protein, carbs, fat, salt, and how much of the sugar was added rather than grown. On every recipe you save, at no cost, whichever plan you are on.

Safe for your table

Dietary and allergen tags checked at the ingredient level, not guessed from the title. Allergies, halal, kosher, vegan, keto, and the foods someone at your table simply will not eat. Set once.

Scan any barcode

Point the camera at a packet and get its nutrition and its allergens back in a blink. The allergens are the part the packet does not do for you.

Plan the week, shop together

Drop recipes onto a week and KiWi builds the shopping list, remembers which recipe each item came from, and lets everyone in the house tick the same list at the same time.

Cook with your hands full

A cooking mode for hands covered in flour. Timers keep running while you do something else, synced to your phone, your tablet and your watch. Ask for the next step out loud.

Works without a signal

Everything you write is saved on the device first and syncs when you are back online. A supermarket basement is not a reason to lose your list.

Pro

Snap your plate

Did not cook it yourself? Photograph the meal and KiWi estimates what is in it, so a restaurant dish or someone else’s cooking still counts.

Ask KiKi

Your own sous chef. What can I use instead, how do I scale this for six, what do I do with the half tin I have left.

Share the cooking. Keep your own numbers.

One kitchen for up to five people: the same recipes, the same week, the same list. What you personally ate stays yours, even from the person who set the family up. Free with any account.

One shared kitchen, not a shared folder

The recipe library, collections, the week’s plan, the shopping list and the trip you are on, notes and ingredient corrections, scanned products and best-before dates. All of it, for everyone in the house.

Two people, one supermarket

Tick items off on either phone and the list stays right, including when one of you is in the basement with no signal. KiWi settles it per item, so nobody’s ticks get overwritten by the other phone.

KiWi remembers who cooked

Mark a meal cooked and it is credited to you. Hand it over if someone else actually cooked, credit whoever helped, and see how the cooking has been shared out over recent weeks.

Your numbers are yours

What you ate is stored under your own account, and nobody else in the family can read it. There is no household nutrition dashboard and no way to look at what someone else is eating. That is a rule in the database, not a setting we could quietly change.

Up to five people including you. Share a link or a QR code to add someone.

Free to use. Pro when you want more.

Nutrition is free on every recipe you save. That part is not the upsell.

Free

Save six new recipes a week and keep five of them fully in play, with meal planning, shopping, cooking mode and notes. Nutrition, dietary tags and barcode scanning come with every recipe, on any plan.
